How To Make A Simple Skirt Tutorial

For those of you have been around my blog, yes, this is a repost.  For the last three weeks, I have been blessed with the opportunity to provide Pumpkin Seed Press with craft tutorials for a study that is currently going on.  The study is B’twixt and B’tween and is for moms and daughters (age 9+) to do together once a week for 6 months.  It is really an awesome study on so many different levels.

For those of you joining me from PSP, then you already know how awesome both Shelley and the study are!  You and your daughter will be so blessed to have dedicated this time to each other.

This is a revised tutorial, which features a downloadable Word document that has an embedded Excel worksheet in it to help you with fabric measurements.  Regardless of your size, you should be able to put in your measurements and follow the tutorial to create your own skirt.  This simple pattern has so many possibilities, depending on the fabric colors/styles that you use.

Note:  If you want a long skirt, use a stretchy material to compensate for no slit in this pattern.

If you encounter a glitch, let me know and I will fix it.  Or if you need it in a different version of Word.

Here is the Word document for your sewing pleasure:
